The Distress Centre is Calgary’s only 24 hour crisis support line. Wading through an economic downturn, we were tasked with communicating this important around-the-clock service, using the only medium they could afford - their annual report.
We created the first 24 hour video annual report. The video contains 24 hours of uninterrupted footage of the call centre and 24 short videos displayed every hour, on the hour.
Results after 6 weeks:
- 80% new visitors to the Distress Centre’s website
- Video engagement lasted for almost 6 minutes (5:45)
- 400% (383%) increase in time on site
- Compared to the previous year, there was a 186% increase in new visitors and a 148% increase in sessions
